Protecting Spring Plowing While Fighting the Pandemic—Zhongchuang Xingyuan Achieves a Record-High First-Quarter Shipment Volume!

As spring returns to the earth and all things come back to life, January to March each year marks the critical period for spring plowing in China, and it also coincides with the peak season for fertilizer use. However, due to the Spring Festival holiday and multiple outbreaks of COVID-19, ensuring the smooth transportation of fertilizers for spring plowing in 2022 has faced numerous challenges.

The seasons wait for no one—springtime is worth more than gold. At the peak of the golden period for preparing for spring plowing, all employees of Zhongchuang Xingyuan rose to the challenge, working in unison from top to bottom. While firmly controlling and preventing the epidemic, we went to great lengths to secure supply sources, raced against time to streamline logistics, and made every effort to carry out all our tasks. As of April 1, Zhongchuang Xingyuan’s first-quarter shipment volume had increased by 40% year-on-year and by 60% month-on-month, surpassing our spring supply assurance targets. To ensure the timely supply of fertilizer raw materials and to keep fertilizer logistics uninterrupted amid the pandemic, Zhongchuang Xingyuan has developed a detailed spring supply-ensuring plan. The Procurement Department held regular working meetings, visited factories and workshops, and conducted on-site inspections to gain a firsthand understanding of fertilizer production and operations. Meanwhile, the Scheduling and Dispatch Department actively coordinated with relevant epidemic prevention authorities, helping logistics drivers overcome practical challenges, identifying cargo routes, and facilitating freight transportation at every stage of the supply chain. Whether by road, rail, or sea, shipments kept rolling steadily—long convoys of vehicles and vessels continuously delivering fertilizers to factories and workshops across the country, bringing them closer to the production lines where hope is born. The Business Department worked overtime, collaborated closely, and overcame numerous difficulties. As business orders poured in one after another, sales momentum surged unstoppable, and the department proactively shouldered its responsibilities, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted supply of fertilizer raw materials.

In the second quarter, China’s epidemic prevention situation remained severe, and the production, transportation, and supply assurance of fertilizers continued to face significant challenges.
